American journalist and reporter Aaron Farrar is well-known. After spending a year as a morning news reporter and principal fill-in anchor at WFXR in Roanoke, Virginia, he joins News4Jax as a weekend morning reporter. Prior to that, he worked for WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for two years as a multimedia journalist.

Aaron received multiple Associated Press accolades for his work when he was living in the Volunteer State. The AP named Aaron the best TV reporter of 2018, and his account of a World War II veteran obtaining his high school graduation at the age of 99 got an award for the best short-light feature.

From 2015 to 2018, Aaron also worked for WTAP in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Before spending more than two years as the weekend sports anchor and reporter, he spent his first few months in the Mountain State as a multimedia journalist.
