She worked as a general assignment reporter for KLKN-TV, an ABC affiliate, for two years. She spent a lot of time in the courtroom covering trials from beginning to end as well as covering the 2011 Missouri River flooding, tornado damage, and Husker football.
She even had the once-in-a-lifetime chance to interview renowned primatologist Jane Goodall and play a round of golf with Larry the Cable Guy.
