Who is Carly Cassady?
Carly Cassady is an American Journalist and Meteorologist who has been serving at KDVR – FOX31 Denver. Having joined the station in Aug 2020. Carly announced her departure in her socials on July 29, 2023. “Bittersweet news – this is my last week at FOX31/CH2 and in TV news”. Before, she was part of the Pinpoint Weather team. Serving as a weekday morning anchor on Daybreak at 6 a.m. In addition, she also appeared on the FOX31 Morning News at 8 a.m.

Currently, Carly is moving into a communications and marketing role in another part of the community outside of news. Having done her last show on August 5, 2023. Earlier on she served as a Meteorologist at WXII12 News. This was in Greensboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina Area from Jun 2018 to Jul 2020 for 2 years and 2 months.
Carly did her Summer Internship from May 2013 to Jul 2013, at KMBC 9 News in Kansas City, Missouri Area. While here, Carly was mentored by Bryan Busby and Lisa Teachman. Learning about models, forecasting, as well as graphics.
As for her summer internship in 2014, she was at WUSA-TV from Jun 2014 to Aug 2014 in Washington D.C. Metro Area. Writing forecasts and doing graphics using WSI and MAX. Besides, updating headlines, news tickers, and the website too.
Come 2015, Carly served as an intern at Local Memphis ABC 24 in Memphis, TN. This was from Jan 2015 to Mar 2015. Working in the news and weather department. Here she was going out and shadowing reporters in the field. Besides creating her own package.
