Dana Milbank is a well-known American columnist and author for The Washington Post. He reported the 2000 and the 2004 presidential elections. In addition, he covered President George W. Bush’s first term in office. Karl Rove asked The Washington Post not to assign Milbank to report White House News after Bush won the election in 2000.
A pool report penned by Milbanl which covered a Bush visit to the U.S. Capitol generated controversy within conservative circles in 2001.
