Erin Kiernan is a well-known American journalist who is currently serving as a news anchor and reporter for WHO 13 News. She is based in Des Moines, Iowa. She started serving the station in 2005 as an intern and part-time reporter.
She spent close to five years serving as a news anchor and reporter for KCCI news before joining WHO 13 News station. She has worked as a fitness instructor at the Meredith Corporation from 2013 to 2019. She plays a major role in Channel 13 News Team since she joined.
Erin has also written and produced many of the station’s award-winning investigative and feature reports. She has earned a National Edward R. Murrow Award in 2012 with photojournalist Brandon McCauley and Randy Schumacher for a story about lowan Mark Block overcoming impossible odds to climb Sears Tower in Chicago. In addition, she has received regional Emmy Awards in the feature, consumer, and instructional categories.
