Now, he calls Dallas home. He says the best part about his job is being able to travel around the community and visit local schools. He truly is humbled by the opportunity to speak with kids about his passion for science and the importance of math when trying to pursue a career in meteorology.

What is something people would find surprising about Greg Fields?

He had told her that his first job after college was as a Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He had done this for about a year.

His first job in television came when he worked as a studio camera operator, which he was terribly bad at. After spending time in college studying meteorology, he was transferred to the News Department where he became the Weather Producer. And the rest, as they say, is history.
