Jesse Williams is a well-known American actor, director, producer, and activist. He has portrayed Dr. Jackson Avery on the ABC series Grey’s Anatomy from 2009 to 2022. He has also appeared in the films The Cabin in the Woods in 2012, The Butler in 2013, and in 2017, Band-Aid.
He provided voice acting and motion capture for Markus in Detroit: Become Human in 2018. Williams has appeared in a number of television series, films, and theatre productions since 2006. He established a production company, forward Inc in 2012.
