She has reported on a variety of regional and international stories. While working for KPIX 5, she added Emmy nominations for “Breaking News” owing to her exclusive reporting on the Bay Bridge shooting incident and the capture of wanted criminal James Nivette in France.
Her broadcasts from the anchor desk during the Oakland Super Bowl Riots garnered her the APTRA award for “Excellence in Spot News Coverage” in 2004.
In 2005, Juliette received the Women of Radio and Television Association’s Reporter of the Year award. In 2006 and 2007, she won an Emmy for best anchor. In addition, Juliette won another Emmy for producing the best newscast for KPIX 5’s 5 o’clock news.
In 2008, Juliette won another Emmy for Best Anchor. She also won an Emmy in 2009 for her best Daytime Newscast, which was for the weekday noon broadcast she hosts. Due to her multi-part series, “Hunger Challenge…Living on Food Stamp Budget for a Week,” Juliette won a NorCal RTNDA award in 2012. Due to her team’s coverage of Batkid in 2014, she was awarded her fifth Emmy.
