Raver started her acting career as a child star in 1975 after appearing on Sesame Street at the age of 6 years. She remained on the show for three following years. When her adult career debuted she was first cast in commercials for Visa and Jeep Ravers Broadway launch in 1995 became her first prominent character.
This was in the Philip Barry play known as Holiday whereby Raver co-starred with Tony Goldwyn and Laura Linney. In addition, she was also seen in the feature film known as City Hall with Al Pacino.
She co-starred alongside David Schwimmer and John Spence in a production of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, which was written by Warren Leight called The Glimmer Brothers. This is a fantasy comedy that was a film which was first debuted in 2006. This was co-written by Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon. Moreover, it was directed by Shawn Levy. The film is aimed at the 1993 children’s book of the same title by Croatian illustrator Milan Trenc.
