From 1990 to 1993, she served as an Assignment Editor, Producer, and Reporter for Orange County Newschannel in Santa Ana, California.
She was a reporter and Weekend Morning anchor at WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina from 1993 to 1994. She stayed in New Orleans and served as a reporter and anchor for WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate from 1994 to 2003.
