Mike Buresh is a well-known American journalist and Chief Meteorologist currently serving on Action News at WJAX-TV/WFOX-TV in Jacksonville, Florida. He broadcasts the water on all evening newscasts at 4, 6:30, and 10 p.m on WFOX-TV and 5, 5:30, 6, and 11 on WJAX-TV and WFOX-TV. He also serves other local radio stations.

He started his favorite television meteorology career at WHO-TV in Des Moines, Iowa, then at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio before coming to Northeast Florida nearly 20 years ago.
He has calmly, effectively, and accurately warned, tracked, and informed viewers about tornadoes, waterspouts, floods, and many local tropical cyclones including hurricanes Micheal, Irma and Matthew, Bonnie, Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Fay, Beryl, Debby, and Andrea to name just a few.
