American sports journalist Rece Davis works for ESPN, a global basic cable sports channel. He is a SportsCenter anchor and hosts a number of other network shows, including the basketball show and the College GameDay football extravaganza.
In 2021, Rece was given the opportunity to host international soccer matches as ESPN’s principal host. Prior to this, Rece was the daily host of College Football Live’s regular season during the college football season. Additionally, he has worked as the studio anchor for the football programs College GameDay and College Football Final.
He formerly worked as a sports anchor and reporter at Flint, Michigan’s ABC-affiliated television station WJRT before joining ESPN. The teenage journalist instantly caught ESPN’s eye while working at the station. He has also worked for Columbus, Georgia’s WRBL, a CBS-affiliated television station.

Rece was informed by the hospital that they lacked the tools necessary for surgery to remove their son’s spleen and that they preferred to send him to a trauma center but that a helicopter wasn’t available at the time.
