Robert is currently serving as a general assignment reporter for Boston 25. He has also served as the New Haven Bureau Chief for WFSB-TV (CBS) in Connecticut before coming to Boston 25.
He is one of the first journalists on the scene at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, CT, where he supplied live reports to CNN and CBS’s national special coverage. He also contributed to national outlets on several of the region’s high-profile incidents, such as the Stamford chimpanzee in Times Square, and the Christmas Day 2011 fire in Stamford.
Furthermore, he was first to confirm the name of the suspect in the murder of Yale graduate student Annie Le, and he was the only television reporter to cover both capital trials in the Cheshire home invasion.
