Erin Fehlau is a journalist and broadcaster from the United States. As an anchor, she is presently employed by ABC affiliate WMUR News. Erin has been a member of the WMUR News Team since September 2001.
She presently co-hosts the Daybreak shows on News 9 and the NH Chronicle Show with Sean McDonald. Erin also serves as the host of the New Hampshire Chronicle. Before starting at WMUR, Erin worked for the Portland, Maine-based Fox station.
While she was there, during the 2000 presidential campaign, she broke the news of George W. Bush’s arrest for drunk driving. She received many awards for her story, including the National Clarion Award and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Journalism.
Before beginning her career as a reporter and anchor, Erin worked as a producer at Portland, Maine-based ABC station WMTW. She is employed with Boston-based WB56 as well. While working at WB56 and creating “The Ten O’Clock News,” Erin earned an Emmy Award in 1997 for Outstanding Newscast Producer.
