Who is Ato Boldn?
Ato Jabari Boldon OLY is a four-time Olympic semifinalist, politician, and former track and field athlete from Trinidad. With records of5.64,6.49, and 19.77 seconds in the 50, 60, and 200 cadence events, independently, he owns the public record for Trinidad and Tobago.
He also holds the 100 cadence record at the Commonwealth Games. He also held the 100m public record at 9.86 s, having run it four times until Richard Thompson ran 9.85 s on 13 August 2011.
After retiring from his track career, Boldon was an Opposition Assemblyman in the Trinidad and Tobago Parliament, representing the United National Congress from 2006 – 2007.

Jabari Boldon, Ato OLY was born on the 30 December 1973, in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, at age 49 Hope and Guy Boldon, a Trinidadian father and a Jamaican mother, respectively, welcomed Boldon into the world at Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Before departing for America at the age of fourteen, he attended Trinidad’s Fatima College (Secondary School).

From 1985 to 1988, Ato attended Fatima College (Secondary School) in Trinidad before leaving for the United States at the age of fourteen In December 1989, Ato attended soccer practice as a soccer player at Jamaica High School in Queens, New York City, head track and field coach Joe Trupiano recognized his sprinting ability.
He went on to attend Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose, California, from 1990 to 1992 after graduating. Later, he attended San Jose City College in San Jose, California, USA (1992-93) and UCLA in Los Angeles, California, USA (1993-96), where he finished his studies.

Is Boldon Married?
After a three-year romance, Boldon married entertainment executive/manager Cassandra Mills in 1998. In 2007, Boldon and Mills divorced. They didn’t have any children together.
He however is a proud father to one daughter from a previous marriage. In 2007, he had a daughter with news anchor Neki Mohan. They divorced in 2018. He currently resides in Florida. Boldon is also a US citizen.
